Wow! What a wonderful first week of school! This week we’ve been learning about our classroom, and what’s going on this year! This week has been fun with projects, getting to know each other, setting up supplies, and making new friends.

Next week kindergarten starts. We are excited for this because then we can all patrol. We are also looking forward to the patrol meeting on Wednesday.

Welcome!

Welcome to our class blog! My name is Mrs. Cardoso and I am going to be your child's fifth grade teacher. This is my 5th year teaching at Martin Luther King Elementary School. I taught first grade for the past four years but I am thrilled to be in fifth grade! I can't wait to learn and grow with your children.

On this blog you will find periodic updates from me regarding upcoming tests, projects, etc. You will also find a weekly update from the students explaining what we did that week in school. This blog is a joint effort and the children will have a large part of the responsibility for keeping this blog up to date.

Please check back regularly!
